Tagging Your Posts

Finding your niche in the blogging world can be difficult, but it usually has something to do with your own interests and hobbies. Drawing potential visitors to your blog through the marketing tools I presented over my last two posts will work well, but you need to know your audience.

Drawing those visitors to your blog can be done by making sure that you are correctly tagging and categorizing each blog post that you write. This means using the correct terminology for your niche market. Hopefully, if you are writing about something that you are a hobbyist in, then you will already know the correct and popular terms to use, and you can use those for tagging your posts.

By using the Publicize feature on the Add New Posts page of the Dashboard, WordPress.com has the ability to automatically publicize your Posts on Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Path Twitter, and Tumblr if you already have accounts on these social media sites. All you have to do is set up the links and give WordPress permission.
